We have finished our 6-day remote Northern Vietnam Tour . It was such an amazing experience and we would like to recomm it to anyone who loves to get off the beaten track in Vietnam and keep away mass tourism. The landscape in this region is pure and original, with magnificent karst mountain, rivers and streams, lush rice terraces and frily ethnic hill tribes. Trip Took us The to see three different provinces in untouched Northeast of Vietnam: Ha Giang , Cao Bang Geopark & Ban Gioc Waterfall ; Ba Be Lake & Ba Be National Park .We really had a chance to get off the beaten track, visiting some isolated villages of ethnic Hmong, Tay, Dao monirities. We had a great opportunity to see their house, talked to them and learned about their cultures. It was such incredible experiences that not many people can get when they travel to Vietnam. The local food in the region was also mouth-watering and significant of their own tradition. We had to say that these foods are the best and most unique in the world.
The activities in the trip include: road sightseeing, trekking, boating, kayaking, caving, cycling and swimming. Such a collection of thrilling adventure!
Highlighted places we visit during the trip:
- Dong Van Karst Plateau Global geopark in Ha Giang
- Ban Gioc Waterfall in Cao Bang - the fourth biggest border waterfall in the world between Vietnam & China
- Nguom Ngao Cave in Cao Bang
- Ba Be Lake and Ba Be National Park
