Leibele Schwartz was born in Brod, Poland. He came to Buenos Aires at hte age of eight, he took piano and singinglessons, and took interest in jewish litugy and lyrics. In 1959 he travelled abroad where he sang for three years in "Bet Hamedrash Ha Gadd" temple of Johannesburg (South Africa), then five years in "Sharei Tzedek" of New York. He offered recitals all around USA, Europe and Latin America. In August of 1967 he was requestet by the Israeli government to participate in the "Music Festival". He recorded seven LP Discs, with liturgic, folkloric and chassidic music.
Known in the world as a lyric singer and magnificent "Cantor", Leibele Schwartz returned to Buenos Aires in 1970 conractet by the Israeli Congregational Temple of Argentina to perform as the "Main Cantor
