מצאתי פתרון באנגלית. אני מקווה שהטקסט יהיה מובן, כי אני קצת הסתבכתי עם השפה...

"If you catch rust stains quickly enough, you can usually erase them with energic, hard-cloth rubbing. For deep stains, shake sodium hydrosulfite crystals onto the stained area, moisten with water, and let stand not more than half an hour. Rinse and apply sodium citrate solution. If some stain remains, repeat the process. Slight surface etching may call for repolishing."
