help me present the orthodox Jewish community correctly
Hi;My name is Chava, the owner of http://www.orthodox-jews.com My website is designated to explain and write all about the Jewish religion, and orthodox Jewish culture, lifestyle and mindset. I would appreciate if you can please review my site and give me comments, suggestions and insights to improve my site.

Dear Chava
Your choose of this forum as representative of Jewish tradition/culture is not the best one you can do (as an . ,understatement) . To say, in fact this forum is a wonderful representation of Judaism at present, but this is, seemingly, not what you have been looking for when posting this invitation.
First, the variety of positions and approachments here about "what the Judaism is" is so huge that you can be
sure that you'll be corrected and 'taught' one time A, the second B, and then the third will declare unambigously: "the true is C, clean n' clear". your website, if subjected to free comments and corrections, will become very quickly an undefined, unclear and mixed 'salad',including the range from fundemental (no judgement intended!) beliefs about the very true value of Biblical mythology and Kabbala to a denial of some of the "13 principles" - as you put them - and of course all that between. you're not interested in such an outcome, isn't it? f
Second, people participating in this forum, are interested more in the logic underlaying Judaism (and whether . there is one) than the nice folklore of it. my advice to you - post it in
'בחדרי חרדים' 'כיכר השבת' and more פורום חרדי (google it!)
or, better (but it will cost you losting some of "autencity" as perceived by some American people, such as "shtraimal", "sheitel" and curled "peios") d
'כיפה', 'סרוג' and more "פורום דתי" (google it!)

There is one thing that unites orthodox Judaism through all its sects: The Judaism belief that the Bible (The Old Testamant or Torah Shebiksav, the written Torah) and the Talmud (Torah SheBaal Peh, or the oral Torah) are all divinely given from God (Hashem), and therefore cannot be modified or changed.
האמירה שכתובה באדום, היא ממש לא נכונה. רוב ה"ראשונים" (כולל הרמב"ם), לא חשבו כך. לדעתם יש מצוות מסויימות שהן "הלכה למשה מסיני", אולם רוב התלמוד אינו מלמד את אותן "הלכות למשה מסיני". אלא עוסק בדיונים שמבוססים על סברה אנושית של האמוראים והתנאים. למעשה כל מי שלמד תלמוד, ורואה את המחלוקות ואת צורת הדיונים, לא יכול להסיק בשום אופן שהתלמוד "ניתן כולו על ידי א-לוהים משמים".
הסיבה שלא נוהגים לחלוק על התלמוד, אכן אינה ברורה. לדעת הרמב"ם זה בגלל שהיהודים פשוט קיבלו זאת עליהם. ולדעת ה"חזון איש", זה בגלל שהתנאים והאמוראים היו כה גדולים עד שלא ניתן לחלוק עליהם. (אני חושב שהסיבות האמיתיות הן אחרות, אבל אין כאן המקום להכנס לכך).
