Suffering, suffering

Must everybody suffer in this good world? Does everybody suffer? Is it true that everybody must have, and has, a pekele? Is it true that nobody has everything? (ales in einem nishtoo by kienem… an old Yiddish proverb) maybe you can be rich and smart and have beautiful erliche children- who knows
There is a legend, popularized in a beautiful song by Yonoson Schwartz and Abish Brodt, that there is a cup of tears in heaven, and that before Moshiach comes it must be filled with tears- who is responsible for this idea? Who's brainchild is it? I didn't find it in Chaza''l
The famous philosopher Sigmund Freud was a subscriber to this idea- he claimed that life's purpose is suffering. '' Murphys law'' (''whatever can go wrong will go wrong'') seems to come from the same school of thought
True, most people have some troubles ('' walk up to any person in the street and say ''I heared about your problem'' he will reply ''who told you''''- Zig Ziglar) but is it from hashem or a result of their way of living? Don't think I don't have any suffering in my life….not so
Most troubles can be accredited to people's own behaviors. Obesity and health problems, social problems, parnasa, cinuch- almost everything can be blown away if you are willing to do something. Walk a little and watch what you eat, be a little nicer to your wife and kids, and serve your clients with honor and loyalty and don't lie to them
No denying that Hashem does send some suffering to people, as it says in the torah- but maybe not to everybody
So my point here is that maybe this is a better world than we thought- and maybe we are worse people han we thought…. just maybe
Maybe this can solve some of the questions people ask in despair about hashem. Like: ''why did this (fat) kolel yungerman with five kids have a heart attack while this (skinny- gym freak) bum next door lives and laughs'' maybe we can shift our outlook on the subject
Looking forward. Thanks
