We are delighted to announce the opening of this new forum. This forum is based on the Hebrew עצור כאן חושבים http://hydepark.hevre.co.il/hydepark/forum.asp?forum_id=1364
And it will carry the same values, integrity, and commitment to intellectual honesty.
For all of us who don't have the time to open an own blog, well, here is the place to write all our thoughts, theories, and questions which will in due time be answered or debated by other participants.
Please take a few minutes of your time to check out the Hebrew עצור כאן חושבים and you will see issues ranging from ''The God of Spinoza vs. the God of the Zohar'', The codes of Hammurabi Vs. the Laws of the Torah'' to an exegesis of the Yiddish song ''Oifen Veg Shtait a Boim''. All of the issues being discussed with the full respect of the subject matter yet with full freedom of expression.
We fervently hope that the stars of success will shine on our forum too.

So kindly invite yourself and you friends to write and participate in this heady new venture for the English speaking populace

This is indeed wonderful news and many thanks to the initiators.
But one may ask himself whether this forum is going to be a clone of the Hebrew one , with all it's flaws, or rather a new, vivid , snappish forum.
A forum which the truth and as they call it in עצכ"ח "Intellectual Integrity"
is above all social bondage, or -God forbid- the contrary.
Anyway A forum like this is needed and I'm sure that it will succeed.. I am going to do my best for the forum to blossom.
