Yank, your painting with a very broad brush. I think that you need to judge this film not by comparing it to other films that you might have seen, but rather on its content.
What is so unproffesional?, let's break it down a little,
Is it the music?
The shooting?
The locations?
The storyboard?
The editing?
The lip synching?
The actors?
The choreography?
The costumes?
I think that it's obvious that it was done by amateurs. and for a beginner movie producer I think that whoever produced this did a great job.
The storyboard is cute, a lot of ideas are original, I thought that it was interesting to watch, and that's what really counts.
You can have films that have been made by the biggest producers in the industry, yet are boring to watch, so be a little easy on these guys, it was interesting to watch and that's what counts!
