MONTREAL, May 2 /CNW/ - Anti-Zionist Orthodox Jews will be counter
demonstrating the rally celebrating Israeli Independence Day. They will be
denouncing the existence of the State of Israel, which is strictly forbidden
according to Jewish Law (the Torah). This condemnation also encompasses all
acts committed by Zionists under the guise of Judaism whether against people
of the Jewish faith or the Palestinian people.

Neturei Karta to once again display their contempt for the Jewish people in Montreal
The marginal Neturei Karta sect will, as it yearly does, display their contempt for the
Jewish people by counterdemonstration at the Montreal Jewish community's celebrations
today of the 58th Anniversary of the founding of modern Israel, thus gaining more
notoriety through the collaboration of uninspired Quebec journalists and news editors who
prefer to run pictures of these oddballs than images of the festivities...
Despite claiming to speak in the name of ''true Torah Judaism'', after the Neturei Karta
participated in 2004 in a prayer vigil for the ailing Yasser Arafat, they were strongly
condemned as ''nefarious associates of Jewry's enemies'' by all major ultra-orthodox groups
(including such non-Zionists as the Satmar) in a press release:
Their joining in vigils and 'prayers' for the arch-terrorist Yasser Arafat [may his name
be blotted out] with Jew-haters of all manner, is an outrage that we cannot ignore and
will not forgive. We again demand that rabbis and community leaders of all communities
ensure that members of this group are refused entry to all houses of prayer. These
nefarious associates of Jewry's enemies have unfortunately again succeeded in their crazed
hunger for publicity and are being depicted in local and international media - outfitted
in their religious attire - bewailing the impending demise of a mass-murderer -
side-by-side with Palestinian Jew-haters. The shame and embarrassment to decent religious
Jews worldwide is unbearable.
