This year, the Satmar Rebbe asked Joseph Zakon from Crown Heights, Brooklyn, NY, who is a producer of award winning wines and an experienced wine maker for more than thirty years, to produce wine for his community. The Satmar Rebbe's specific instructions to Mr. Zakon was to produce this wine only together with the kosher supervision of the Crown Heights Kosher certifying agency.
Mr. Zakon said that although the complete success of the wine production came with great logistical difficulties, we give thanks to G-d. For the very first time, the joint efforts of the Satmar and the Crown Heights Kosher certifying agencies, directed the complete kosher supervision. They were able to attain the most stringent kosher standards at the KESSER WINERY, Madera, CA, with the Chabad emissary Rabbi Levi Zirkind of Fresno, CA.
The brand name of this wine is SELOH. The Hebrew translation of ''SELOH'' is ''Forever.''
This wine was made the same way as the famous wines called MOSCATO D'ASTI from Italy. This wine has lots of remaining carbonation from the original fermentation. This wine exhibits to the connoisseur a sweet, dancing feeling of delight and joy.
Specifically the names of the two wines are Dancing White Wine, MOSCATO D'CALI, made from the Muscat Alexandria grape. This grape varietal matures to perfection in California. The other, Dancing Red Wine, FOUR GRAPES, is made from a confidential blend of four aromatic grape varieties. Both wines are naturally sweet; this sweetness remained in the wine from the original pressed grapes by stopping the fermentation when the alcohol content reached 5%. These wines are easy for many to drink during the Passover Seder, when one needs to drink four cups of wine to fulfill a requirement of the Passover Seder. These wines will be delightful for any occasion with its dancing bubbles.
The wines are available through the worldwide distribution network of Royal Wine Corporation, Bayonne, NJ, Telephone number 718 384 2400. The suggested retail price is $14.99 per 750mL bottle.

We write in Hebrew the word SELOH with three letters, Samach, Lamed, and Hay. The acronym can be S'atmar, L'ubavitch, and through mutual respect, the letter H'ay of G-d's name resides among us Forever!
Only through the valiant efforts of these individuals who placed peace and mutual respect above all, for the benefit of the entire Jewish community, we will G-d willing, herald in the righteous messiah immediately NOW!
This amazing phenomenon, that has developed before us, where two major Hasidic dynasties, the Chabad Lubavitch and Satmar Orthodox religious groups are working together in harmony by helping each other physically and spiritually, is an all time first. Even though many philosophical concepts between them are very different, many more true Jewish ideologies are in harmony with each other.
This rising above their differences is being led by the esteemed Satmar Rebbe Shlita, known as Rabbi Zalmen Leib, who lives in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, NY. He directed one of his followers to undertake and build a full state of the art ritual bath for the Chabad emissary Rabbi Freuindlich in Beijing, China. The ritual bath they completed a year ago is fully functioning today.
Wishing everyone a Kosher and Happy Passover, in Jerusalem this year.
