Financial crisis gloom seemed a million miles away as I walked through Finsbury Park yesterday.
Stunning light, stunning autumn colours and not a long face in sight.
The sunshine was surprisingly bright, making the contrast between light and shadows quite difficult to control.
Shots like this were especially easy to blow out but I didn't want to underexpose the image and kill the vibrancy of the colours.
Playing off two colours against one another worked really well, although three or more and the picture became too busy.
