Problem:
There's a Police Officer in the 66 Pct in Boro Park by the name of Mascarini (We don't know his first name but it's easy to find out). He drives around Boro Park and around Boro Park all day pulling over as many
as 15 cars an hour. He pulls over for Not wearing Seat Belts and using cellphones without the head set. In other words he hates us.
We were told that some big guy in Boro Park tried to do something about this issue and Mascarini's captain had given him orders to not write tickets in Boro Park. So what he does lately, he writes the ticket and his partner signs it.
Probable Solution:
If and when he pulls you over (Remember his name: Mascarini), tell him that he pulled you over for nothing and that you don't want to give him your license, you want his captain to come down. Keep the doors locked as he may become wild. According to law you are allowed to ask for his captain. Hopefully this will make them kick him out of this
neighborhood for good...

The issue here is very simple, writing out a ticket in Boro Park does not make an Officer an Anti Semite, in and of itself.
Selectively enforcing petty violations only in heavy Chasidishe neighborhoods for months and years does!
The above Officers have no problem sitting in Ess and Bentch right next table from your wife and Kinderlach and handing her a summons 10 minutes later because she unbuckled her seatbelt at the traffic light to calm a screaming child.
The above officers also love Erev Shabbos and Yom Tov, they will sit on 16th Ave and just pounce on all the hassled frum Balebustas, while they themselves are double parked tying up the already congested thourofare.
Officers who display such a lack of discretion and a lack of sensitivity to our community, do not deserve the relative safety and comfort of working in our precinct.
But as they say in Yiddish "Di fish Shtinkt fin Kup"
In the middle of the winter a private individual contacted the commander and these officers were assigned to a post on Ocean Parkway. After a while they came back and the are more zealous in their mission then ever.
The only thing that changed was that the old Commander, Deputy Inspector Mcallister, left. Now there is a new Commander his name is Peter A. DeBlasio.
I would like to give him the benefit of the doubt at this time and say that he is unaware of the high tension and resentment this particular team of Officers have caused.
Somebody out there should call his attention to this mess before there is a scandal.
It's a pity but Felder and Hikind are a waste of time, If they wanted to they could've done something about this long ago.
Last but not least log on to the NYPD 66th Precict Profile, right out of the box they tell you that "The largest segment of the population consists of many Hassidic and Orthodox Jewish Communities".

It would only make sense that the Officers in this Precinct who swear to protect and serve us, take some basic training and learn what it is that we are all about so that ALL of us not only the Machers should feel comfortable and a mutual respect between Officers and the residents may someday redevelop.

I just thought of something a little more practical, then locking the windows and doors when stopped by him and demanding the sergeant
If you have get a large enough pool of victims together,to alternate
everytime Mascarini goes to court, as witnesses, his tickets won't stick, and the commander will have to move him.
Even 10 or 12 people every six weeks or so when he goes to court will put significant pressure.
The witnesses just have to say the truth, that he hates Jews and selectively enforces against Orthodox Jews.
His ticket books are the best proof,
Does anyone know when is the next time Mascarini will be in court?

Does anyone know who is good with this officer that could help people that received tickets to tell Mascerini not to show up in court or something else????
