Lots of frum people go to Hunter, New York in the summer and in the winter (ski season). Now there is a kosher Bed & Breakfast in Hunter. Hunter is just about 2 miles from Tannersville where there is a big Lubavitch crowd and also a Yekisha crowd from Washington Heights during the summer.

There is a beautiful landmark Orthodox shul in Hunter, New York. The Hunter Synagogue is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
The
90 year old sanctuary is a marvelous example of turn of the century
handcrafted woodwork. There is a balcony for the women and the davening
is Minhag and Nusach Aschkenaz. The availability of a minyan during the
week or on Shabbos is not guaranteed. During the months of July and
August a Shabbat and Daily minyan are generally available.
