Brooklyn Girl Killed By Car While Playing Near Home
JUNE 20TH, 2004
A young girl was killed Saturday night after being stuck by a car while she was playing near her Brooklyn home.
Authorities say 12-year-old Frida Chirazi was playing with friends shortly before 9 p.m., when she ran into the street on East 22nd Street near Avenue M.
A 24-year-old man driving a black 2002 Nissan Sentra hit the girl as she jumped off the sidewalk.
The driver was not ticketed for the accident.
