Ever since I got ticketed by him I usually remember to wear seatbelts.
It seems that he is targeting offenses that do not add points on your license like seatbelt, cellphone and tinted windows, only a fine of around $100 which is less than a parking ticket these days.

Here is the kicker guys;
Fact #1
For years Felder, Hikind and the Shomrim have been moaning about how the commander insists on having Mascarini write tickets on 13th Ave. and how they just can't get him to change his mind.
Fact #2
All it took was one plain individual, to write a letter to the old Commander and Mascarini was moved out of the neighborhood, within a weeks time.
Fact #4
The new Commander came in and Mascarini is back.
It's only fair to conclude that the Machers never bothered trying to do anything and that the old Commander saw merit in the complaint.
The new Commander................
I geuss we will have to judge him by his actions!
In other words if he moves Mascarini, Great!
If he replaces him with 5 other cops to do the same thing, BOO.
Read the attached letter from the 66th Pct. Command in March and draw your own conclusions.

FYI: There is a group of police officer that are assigned to the PCU division, they issue summons for any parking violations.
They don't care who you are or what type of ID you have in your window , If you are parked illiegely they will issue you a summons no matter if you are in the car, next to the car, ect.
