Any one heard the full album?
Its not like the previous one but its not bad

He has Daskals song Shulom Rohov (i think the arrangements were supposed to be on the album originaly) mona does a good juob - dixie style but it can be disputed if Lamm did a better job
At lease Shlomie ( who by the way i'm a great fan of) sounds more in pitch-I think its just a case of better engineering.

Mona sing the song from MBD daddy dear.... he faked the strings but did a fabulous job.. the piano is also redone (and i think gutfried did a way better job than gershovsky - he just has a lighter touch) though the origional (on english collections) the piano SOUND is better.

The first song Maaminim or Hevel Havolim - what ever you call it... is great though i think the lead vocalist (sruli - anieny/oz yiboka ginzburg) is too much compressed - its just a plague in jewish music COMPRESION

Mona sing a song Yosale... the guy is wierd in an interestib=ng musical way....

generally a decent album though i expected better.

I think there is too much bass
then the fishmonger comes up and says NA its the mid dats the problem

analizing a problem which was never there in a subject they have no IDEA in

every one can voice their opinion thats why we have HYDEPARK

If he has experience doesn't mean he is a maivin... you could be writting for 30 years and still have bad writting (no offence HappyJew... you just keep being HAPPY... if you are who i think you are you ARE A MAYVIN...)
its more of a B'TAAM VAREACH EIN MA L'HITVAKEACH situation

I HATE compression and believe if the musician knows how to perform, the singer knows how to sing and (
last but not least) the ENGINEER KNOWS HOW TO RECORD
Jewish music would'nt suffer so much with this plague called COMPRESSION.

The problem is, nowerdays it is so easy to have yourself a smaal studio and inexpensive too that every one becomes an engineer and the easy way out is COMPRESS what ever you can.
