I bought the CD,
I actually enjoy listening to it!
I strongly disagree with the arrangements on the Bobover Ko Ribon,,
This particular song needs to be arranged so that the beauty of the melody shines through, it is a very intricate song with a lot of emotion, and depth.
My personal opinion is that the chords were off in more than one place, chords that should be minor are major, and vice versa. Harp is a beautiful instrument, but it is used far too much, and again in the wrong places on this song. The tempo changes are ridicules, and way to harsh on the ear, it is way too abrupt.
There is a lot of noise going on there too,, funny drums, toms I think, or maybe timpani, I understand that the arranger wanted to make it more dramatic, but harp arpeggios, with toms that are to high in tune, and a little flat in pitch, rumbling underneath is not really the way to go.
Ko Echsof is very well done I think,,,, my rating for this album is great to listen to, but try not to analyze it too much while listening!
