Belzer Rebbe Instructs Some Followers to Seek Employment Thursday, November 3, 2005 / 1 Cheshvan 5766

(IsraelNN.com) The Belzer Rebbe, Rabbi Dov Rokach, following the Simchat Torah holiday told his hassidim that those who do not learn properly or are not able to remain in yeshiva due to financial hardships, should learn a trade.

The Rebbe stated that those who need to support their families should learn a trade and go to work, setting aside a number of hours weekly towards Torah study.

According to the Tuesday night Channel 2 TV News report, the Rebbe is concerned for his followers, realizing the financial situation for those who are learning in Torah academies is worsening.
