first question why do you need a permit? did 48 bobov have a permit to hold the simchas beis hashoeivas in their succah it was definitely a fire hazard just like you can say to eastern plaza.
second question when bobov 45 built their succah was there a permit?or nobody dreamt yet that someone can masser
third question when r' aron built the tent for simchas torah in the yard of the public scholl was there a permit? ididnt see any posters in that place about occupancy
when all the rebbes built their tents in the public school yards on 16-56 in bp was there permits? if there was permits please supply the links to the neccessary websites and lets check it.

I can't pretend to know the facts as I was not there. However, two things spring to mind

If people have managed to get away with structures which are fire hazards, that is wrong and it
only takes one accident chas veshulem to bring us all more tzures than we can imagine

The secret to get away with things is to keep them quiet. If people give an event a lot of publicity, chances are that everybody finds out about it and questions are asked

the publicity was done only by the jewish people in the jewish neighborhood

second of all i see that in the end it was approved so it wasnt a fire hazzard to begin with bcause as far as i heard it was discussion only about fire doors

What you hear is meaningless, facts count.

   Jewish neiborhoods are not exclusively jewish and if you have thousands of leaflets and posters everywhere and probably many workmen, it gets around

If it was no problem and they put nothing right afterwards, let them sue the department for losses incurred due to their action. I bet you there were violations which they finally put right when they saw that someone was watching

As I said before, I am not stating facts, only throwing possibilities into the forum

I am not trying to have an argument, just saying that when there is a big event it always leaks
out whether you like it or not. An event like this would have required lots of preparations involving all sorts of people and people talk.

Let me throw some other thoughts and facts at you. Every single, yes, every single house in Boro Park is built with "problems", but we yiden don't masser on other yiden. When people have fights with their neighbors and they do masser, they takeh have all kinds of problems, just like in Eastern Plaza.

As someone said before, you think that Bobov 48 (or 45) applied for a permit to have 700 people in the siccah every night? With the curtains and the schach and all the other fir hazards? But yiden don't masser on other yiden.

The kintras said that the police gave in the complaint. Ha! The police couldn't care less. You think when they had the emrias tehilim for tashbar in the aseres yemei teshivah in Bobov and in Beis Yakov with thousands of children crammed in and lots of publicity and lots of police that it was legal to put some many kids in the beis medrash? But yiden just don't masser on other yiden.

The only way all of these departments came is because SOMEBODY called them. If the police put in the complaint it was only because somebody urged the police to put in the complaint.

So when MCM got up, instead of blaming 45 he should have just said that we didn't do it and we're mocheh on whoever did it.

And by saying that for a year 45 is making up stories about them he proved openly that he is a liar. Because what they did with the Kaplans was proven in beis din. And all the rabbonim that were called and strashehd because they came to 45 know that they were called. Nobody even denies these things.

So nobody in the chassideshe world (including many people in 48) believes the kintras. They didn't believe it when it was one page and they don't believe it now that it's 20 pages.

I read your diatribe, but you have no proof whatsoever that there was definitely a mesirah. Furthermore, even if there was, you have no proof it was someone from 48 street. And if there was a mesirah and it was someone from 48 street, it could have been a lone individual out to make trouble, certainly not an officially sanctioned action which anyone would know would cause us major embarrassment. The main beneficiary of any mesirah would be 45 street, as it would  give you good publicity and sympathy.

As you know I do not live in NY, but everyone I speak to from 48 street just wants you guys to leave us alone and do what you want.True, there is a stricter discipline in 48 street, but this is due to the difficulties of the present situation and the vast majority seem happy. We have a packed Beis Hamedrash and your absence is not noticeable.The tischen are well attended and people come regularly and stay long, something you do not do under duress.

 R' MD has obviously got a good crowd of his own and it is time you all just concentrated on your Rebbe and your chassidus. There is room for everyone and we could live without machloikes.

The problem is that you have chaloimos of getting something substantial out of the Din Toireh, which is looking unlikely. I personally think that a Din Toireh which effects the future of so many people and is causing the continuing strife should be dealt with as a matter of urgency and if the Rabbunim have to devote more time to it, sobeit. It is ridiculous that after more than a year everything is still in the air

I have not posted for a long time until a week ago, but can see that it is a waste of time. All of you seem totally blinded by the hatred and bitterness (of which incredibly you accuse us) I will therefore try to resist the temptation to write again when I get mad at the silly things I see here
