Audio slideshow: Your views of wintry October

Unusually for October, snow has been falling across large parts of the UK - and readers of the BBC News website have been capturing the wintry scenes on camera.

Here - with the help of BBC weather forecasters on Radio 4 and Radio 5Live - take a look at some of the pictures we have been sent, from northern Scotland to Hampshire.

'Show captions' will reveal photograph location and credit.
Music: 'Glass Dancing', composed by Andy Hopkins/Tord Jungsten.
Slideshow production by Paul Kerley.
