How Eretz Yisrael was saved from Hitler, and how we can save ourselves from the Atom Bomb!!
רב גדול אחד סיפר לי ששמע מהגה"צ המקובל האלוקי רבי יהודה לייב אשלג בעל מחבר ספר הסולם על הזוהר הקדוש.
A Great Rabbi in the name of Rabbi Yehuda Leib Ashlag author of the Sulam commentary on the Zohar:
הגה"צ המקובל האלוקי רבי יהודה לייב אשלג זצ"ל ראה ברוח קודשו וזעק שעל היהודים בפולין ובאירופה לעלות מיד לארץ ישראל, עוד לפני שראה שפרצה מלחמת היטלר ימ"ש על העולם כולו, ופחדו מאוד שיגיע לארצינו הקדושה להשמיד להרוג ולאבד את כל היהודים מנער ועד זקן טף ונשים ח"ו.
It was during WWII when Hitler tried to destroy the Jewish community living in Eretz Hakodesh, Heaven Forbid.
על כן אמר הרב יהודה לייב הלוי אשלג זצוקללה"ה, שהיות ורבי שמעון בן יוחאי כותב בזוהר הקדוש בספרא דא יפקון מגלותא, התחיל לתרגם הזוהר בלשון הקודש כדי שכל יהודי יבין וילמוד את הזוהר הקדוש, ובדיוק כשגמר לתרגם ולהדפיס את הזוהר אז נגמר המלחמה של היטלר ימ"ש. ולא הצליח זממו בארצינו הקדושה.
Rabbi Ashlag decided, that since Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai writes that through the study of his sefer the Zohar Hakadosh, we will merit to leave Galus, he would translate and explain the Zohar in Lashon Hakodesh so all could approach it. Precisely when he finished publishing, the war ended. Hitler's designs in Eretz Hakodesh were thwarted.
וזה לשונו של רשב"י הקדוש: ברעיא מהימנא ספר במדבר פרשת נשא דף קכד/ב
והמשכילים יזהירו כזוהר הרקיע בהאי חבורא דילך דאיהו ספר הזהר מן זוהרא דאימא עלאה תשובה. באלין לא צריך נסיון ובגין דעתידין ישראל למטעם מאילנא דחיי דאיהו האי ספר הזהר יפקון ביה מן גלותא ברחמי ויתקיים בהון ה' בדד ינחנו ואין עמו אל נכר
''In the merit of this work (the Book of the Zohar) of yours (Says Moshe Rabbeinu to Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai), And because the Jews in the future will taste from the Tree of Life which is this Sefer haZohar, [The Jews] will be redeemed from exile with compassion''
The Zohar haKaddosh (3, 124b)
וכמו שאנו נזקקים לרחמי שמיא ויש כמעט אחד וחצי מילארד ערבים שכולם רוצים לחסל את היהודים, ולכן אנו בטוחים שאם ילמדו את הזוהר הקדוש בכל יום ויום עם פירוש סולם עכ"פ בשעת הדחק עשר עד 15 דקות, ויגמורו כל הזוהר בשנה אחת בוודאי ינצלו מחבלי משיח ויבוא הגאולה, כמו שהבטיח רבי שמעון בן יוחאי שבספרא דא יפקון מן גלותא.
Today, too, we are in need of much mercy from Heaven. We are surrounded by one and a half billion Arabs who want to kill us. I am certain that if we learn Zohar in purity each and every day for ten or fifteen minutes per day, and complete all of Zohar in one year, we shall surely be delivered from Chevlei Mashiach, as Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai promises above.
