The Belze delegation than visit the tziyun of the admor Beirach Moshe of Satmar zt”l and recited the same nusach seeking mechila.
According to Chadrei Chareidim, the dayanim shlita included HaGaon HaRav Tuvia Wettenshtein, HaGaon HaRav Moshe Shimon Binata, Rav Asher Eckstein, Rav Sholom Pesach Langsheim, Rav Wolf Ber Lerner and Rav Mordechai Galitzky.
There is now speculation that when the Satmar Rebbe Shlita visits Eretz Yisrael next month, he and the Belzer Rebbe will meet. They are after all brothers-in-law.
The dispute was the result of a drasha given by the Belzer Rebbe on motzei Simchas Torah in 5740. The Belzer Rebbe has made numerous efforts to make shalom over recent years.
Recently, it was reported that the Satmar Rebbe stated, “When the Rebbe will send a minyan of rabbonim and dayanim to the kever of the Divrei Yoel to ask mechila, the peace process will get underway”.

A wave of excitement is gripping parts of the chareidi world as a historic reconciliation between the chassidic dynasties of Belz and Satmar is underway.
The Belzer Rebbe sent a delegation of ten dayanim, headed by his gabbai, to thekevorim of the Satmar Admorim, the Divrei Yoel and the Berach Moshe, at the Kiryas Yoel bais hachaim in Monroe, New York.
The dayanim said Tehillim and lit candles and asked mechilah in the name of the Belzer Rebbe, Rav Yissachar Dov ben Miriam.
This request of mechilah is expected to pave the way to the historic reconciliation between the dynasties. Rav Aharon Teitelbaum of Satmar is planning to visit Eretz Yisroel next month and a meeting between him and his brother-in-law, the Belzer Rebbe, is expected to take place.

The gabbei of Belzer Rebbe, R’ Shimon Wolf Klein and a delegation of ten Belzer dayanim from all over the world paid a visit today to the kever of the Satmar Rebbe, R’ Yoel, zt’l, in Kiryas Joel, and asked for mechila from the Satmar Rebbe in the name of the Belzer Rebbe.

משלחת הדיינים על ציון האדמו"ר מסאטמר זצ"ל
האם נסללה הדרך לאחר למעלה מ-30 שנות נתק ומשבר לשלום המיוחל בין הגיסים וחצרות האדמו"רים מסאטמר ומבעלזא? אם שואלים את מקורבי שני החצרות התשובה היא ככל הנראה חיובית.
הצעד הראשון לפיוס ההיסטורי התרחש אמש (שני) בשעה שעשרה מחשובי דייני חסידות בעלזא, מישראל, ארה"בוקנדה, בראשות הרב שמעון וואלף קליין, הגבאי ואיש אמונו של האדמו"ר מבעלזא שליט"א, עלו יחד לבית החיים בקרית יואל במונורו שבארה"ב בכדי להשתטח על ציונו של בעל ה"ויואל משה" מסאטמר זצ"ל ולבקש ממנו בקשת סליחה ומחילה.
מניין הדיינים שנכחו במקום כלל את הרבנים הגאונים רבי טוביה וועטענשטיין, רבי משה שמעון בינעטה, רבי אשר עקשטיין, רבי שלום פסח לאנגסאם, רבי וואלף בער לערנער ורבי מרדכי גאליצקי, ועמם הרבנים בראשם המשב"ק הרב שמעון וואלף קליין, הרב גבריאל מענעצר, הרב יוסל לאנגסאם, הרב משה יוסל מאשקוביץ, והרב עזריאל העכט.
הדיינים הגיעו לאוהל הציון, הדליקו נרות, קראו פרקי תהילים ולאחר-מכן ביקשו סליחה על הפגיעה באדמו"ר זצ"ל, בשמו של האדמו"ר מבעלזא. לאחר-מכן פקדו הדיינים גם את קברו של בעל ה"ברך משה" מסאטמר זצ"ל, שם גם שבו וביקשו סילחה.
הדיינים, פקדו את קבריהם של האדמו"רים וביקשו סליחה בזה הנוסח: "אנחנו שליחים של רבינו יששכר דוב בן מרים, ששלח אותנו לבקש סליחה ומחילה על מה שפגע בכבודכם".
יצויין כי מדובר במהלך יוצא דופן וראשון מסוגו, כאשר זהו לכאורה צעד ראשון אותו עשה האדמו"ר מבעלזא בדרך לשלום המיוחל עם חסידות סאטמר.
לפני שנים רבות, חסידות בעלזא היתה נחשבת כחלק מחוגי "העדה החרדית". המשבר החל בשמחת תורה תשמ"ב במעמד ה"שטיידיגע תורה" המסורתי בו נושא הרבי מבעלזא דברי תורה וחיזוק בפני החסידים, כשבמהלך אותו משא נאמרו דברים שבחסידות סאטמר נפגעו מתוכנם.
בהמשך וכתוצאה מהדברים, פרשה החסידות מ"העדה" ופתחה מערכת כשרות נפרדת וכן הצטרפה ל"אגודת ישראל", מה שהעצים את המשבר והחריפו.
עתה כאמור נסגר המעגל ההיסטורי בבקשת המחילה של דייני בעלזא מעל קברו של האדמו"ר מסאטמר זצ"ל.
האם יהיה לכך המשך, ובעקבות בקשת הסליחה תתקיים אף פגישה היסטורית בין המנהיגים הרוחניים בקרוב? ייתכן כי כבר בביקורו הקרוב של האדמו"ר מסאטמר בארץ, הדבר יצא אל הפועל.
