The Sol and Evelyn Henkind Talmud Text Databankis comprised of primary textual witnesses to tractates of the Babylonian Talmud, including manus, first printed editions and Cairo Geniza fragments. This version produced by The Lieberman Institute is mounted upon the search engine developed by the Bar Ilan Responsa Project, and specifically commissioned by the Lieberman Institute for this adaptation, thus combining expertise in manu texts of the Babylonian Talmud with search capabilities of proven efficiency and high caliber. The database presents the user with the full texts of the textual witnesses of the Babylonian Talmud, and allows the user to search for specific words and combinations of words within the entire corpus. Until now the newest version of the Text databank (Version 5) has been available on a subion basis only, for $750, including the right to receive all subsequent updates for a small handling charge. The Lieberman Institute is now also offering copies of Version 5 for $300 on a non-subion basis. Copies of the basic version remain available for $200. Purchasers of copies of the basic version may exchange them for copies of Version 5 for only $100. Purchasers who wish to purchase subions in the future will receive credit toward the subion price.

The Index of References Dealing with Talmudic Literature provides bibliographical references to discussions on rabbinic literature and related fields and has been updated to include close to 1000 works. These works comprise modern Talmud scholarship and related fields, parallel references within the Talmudic-Midrashic literature and medieval Talmudic commentaries. The bibliography of Talmud scholarship and related fields spans various disciplines including but not limited to: ancient history, women in the Talmud, the relationship of texts to Talmudic literature and more. The database also includes classics of Talmud scholarship such as Saul Lieberman's Tosefta ki-feshuta and Y.N. Epstein's Mavo le-Nusach ha-Mishna. This update includes an input function for authors to add the passage indexes to rabbinic literature from their works. A benefit to all of scholarship, this function will allow for new works to be available on an ongoing basis. Any book with a passage index to rabbinic literature will be readily available to subscribers of the Index.
