Shlomy,
Why don't you add a column for "Reliability of Hashgocho", quite a few of those on the list, I would give a 1 out of 5 (at best).

I've been to Prime Grill once a few years ago and enjoyed it very much.
The rest, I dunno, I live in Israel, I avoid going to NY like I would avoid the plague. When I the only place I go to eat is Meshihana (I think that's the name) the sushi place in Flatbush, though I think I heard a rumor it might have closed. Otherwise...I eat my Shvigger's cooking and I'm happy.

Hey, you forgot about "Famous Pita"!
Their falafel balls are by far the best! Great shwarma too... and LOVE their saldad bar...!

Stay away from My Most Favorite Desert in Manhattan. Its outrageously expensive, the service is lousy, and I have hsd the most miserable dates there.
I love Bistro on 46th St though.

The best Kosher Restaurant I was in was Prime Grill in Aventura. The one in NYC is so so. Also a fun place is Sushi Mettsuyoun in Cedarhurst- great tender steak which you could cut with a fork

I have to say, I never like abigail's, was there twice both times found it noisy, very slow service, and it wasnt such a relaxed setting.
I loved the old Haikara location, that was the best. But since they moved the new location is not nearly relaxed.
My Most Fav. Dessert, is crazy expensive, and the service isnt amazing, but I found the food and the atmosphere really great, I liked going there, the two times I went there too, it was like a treat.
You went on a date there? that's my casual if you ask me.
La marei made me feel like I was AT The slaughter house, but the steak was amazing.
tea for two is a great place, heavy food though, prices arent so outragous for that type of place, and it's out of the way not in the cewnter of the frum world 0of brooklyn. and amazing sushi, the spider roll is to die for.
never been to prime grill

HaIkara is really good. Or was...I haven't been in at least 4-5 years. There tempura sushi was spectacular. I do recall Levana's as being very classy and having good venison.

Levana used to be my all time favorite, from the time it was milchig through years of it being fleishig. Unfortunately, the last time I was there, one could see it went south. Whereas the place was fomerly packed, that a reservation was a necessity, at 7:30 P.M. we were the only customers. My food was good. They mixed up my dates order three times. He was so upset, after 45 minutes of waiting, and him insisting I eat so my food shouldn't get cold, he cancelled his order and we went to McFleishigs on 16th avenue in BP for a delicious corned beef sandwich and fries. The best part of the evening, though, was he proposed to me and we are getting married imminently :-)

Crown Heights has some wonderful restaurants. The kretchme on troy Avenue and Empire Boulevard has the best pizza in town. Esthers Deli on Albany Avenue and Empire Boulevard, has great sushi and fleishigs. The Boulevard Cafe' on Empire Boulevard and Brooklyn Avenue is delicious milchig. The Boulevard Cafe' is where 'Matisyahu' was interviewed by MTV.
The prices at the above places are very fair.

I have to agree with amshinov. mike's bistro is fantastic, try the gnocci apetizer and the chocolate souffle desert, as for the ESSEX debate, isn't it a moot point? the place had a massive fire a couple of weeks ago. Best steak-Prime Grill-Tuesdays=Delmonico. Rubin, I also have to say that the times I've been to Abigail's it was the most charming, quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Mitsuyan in Cedarhurst has the cooles fish tank running along the wall, my kids love going there. Talia's way uptown, loud music, disapointing bar, but...the best steak salad you'll ever taste, better than Le Marais, which is becoming too commercial (plunk your food, and get out) they used to make you feel like they appreciated your dropping $150.00/per person on food and drink, now they make you feel like they're doing you the favor. Best Sushi in Brookly=masihanna, although tea for two's is a close second. Best steak in Queens=hapisgah, they have a house special that makes my mouth water. The Bistro in greatneck is pretty damn good. All around rating for BAR, FOOD, AND AMBIENCE, I'd say prime grill if your not looking for a scene, and solo's if you are.

While working in Manhattan for a short while, I would go every day, almost no exception, to Kosher Deluxe. Does it still exist; I have very fond memories of eating there!!
