Hmmmmm, I beg to differ, I think his voice does not sound so hot at all. I think it was overcompressed and the reverb is shrecklich,, what do you think Happy jew?
Oh and mr hyde talk,, if you listen to the clip of his new tape you will hear a lot of Fried-like notes. When his voice goes nasal you hear what sounds like Frieds voice.

BFLAT you're getting a little too professional for me you seem to know about music ALOT thumbs up for that. yes there is too much compression like on his first album (aneiny) must have been mixed in israel over there they go too heavy on the compression for some reason... compression is an fx which I HATE. it's for lousy recording engineers with lousy equipment, its a quick way to hiding all the peaking. I think if you don't record it right it ain't gonna sound right.
I must say from the clip i heard this album does not sound compressed.

My contact is Hershy, and after listening to the clip again I think it sounds un-natural we can debate what exactly the cause of that is lets wait and hear what happyjew has to say.,,
P.S. I flat out agree with you proper recording, equipment, placing etc. are most important in getting that natural sound.

I HATE compression and believe if the musician knows how to perform, the singer knows how to sing and (
last but not least) the ENGINEER KNOWS HOW TO RECORD
Jewish music would'nt suffer so much with this plague called COMPRESSION.
The problem is, nowerdays it is so easy to have yourself a smaal studio and inexpensive too that every one becomes an engineer and the easy way out is COMPRESS what ever you can.
