(CBS) BROOKLYN Police sources tell CBS 2 that they have the man responsible for three rapes in Williamsburg. Gerard Mitchell, 29, of Moore Street in Brooklyn is now charged with rape and robbery. Police say Mitchell stalked his victims, approached them from behind and threatened them by saying he had a gun, though he only displayed a knife. He then dragged his victims to a secluded area where he sodomized them. His victims have ranged in age from 22 to 38. He also demanded money from each of them. In one of the attacks, he was wearing a red and white devil's mask. He attacked two women in October and another victim this week, all between 5:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.
