six Chabad Houses are in operation in China - one each in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, two in Beijing and two in Shanghai. The first ritual purification bath in China was recently inaugurated in Beijing in a beautiful pagoda-shaped building.
The cost, $150,000, was donated by two merchants of the Satmar Hasidic sect who have business interests in China
