On Monday, the 2nd Sivan, the Satmar Rebbe from Williamsburg, Rabbi Zalman Leib, visited Waterbury CT. The local Shliach Rabbi Yossi Eisenbach - whom along with the Rebbe are Einklach from the Alter Rebbe - presented Rabbi Zalman Leib with a gift, Chassidus Mevueres Maamorim of the Alter Rebbe published by Heichal Menachem as well as a beautiful Megilas Yuchsin showing the Satmar Rebbe his true Yichus being an einkel from the Baal Hatanya.
It turns out the Rebbe has a whole series of Chabad Chassidus already in his personal library.
The Rebbe's Gabbai Reb Moshe, mentioned his Kovod for the Lubavitcher Rebbe, as he personally attended two fabrengen's of Yud Tes Kislev 5724 & 5725. He then mentioned how he learns Tanya, Torah Ohr, Likkutei Torah. The associate Gabbai mentioned that their olam enjoys "Chassidus Mevueres".
Their were hundreds of Satmar Chassidim, & Oilimishe Yidden at the tish, who were inspired to see Achdus in Klal Yisroel. A old Satmar Chossid said he felt mamosh like Matan Torah -- "Vayichan Shom Yisroel...Ke'ish Echad Blev Echad"
