ברגעים אלה מתפשטת הידיעה המרה ברחבי ארצות הברית על האסון הקשה שפקדה את השכונה החרדית במונסי, עם היוודע הבשורה המרה על אחד מבני השכונה החרדית.
היהודי אשר הינו בעל רשיון טיס, הטיס מטוס קל שברשותו בשמי מדינת וורמנט בארצות הברית. מסיבה שאינה ידועה עדיין, ככל הנראה איבד הטייס את השליטה והתרסק לתוך הר, ונהרג במקום.
בדקות אלה מגיעה הידיעה שמדובר באדם מוכר במונסי, עדיין אסור לפרסם את שם המנוח, עקב כי חלק מהמשפחה הרחבה עדיין לא קבלו את הבשורה המרה.

Police: Pilot killed in Bennington plane crash

BENNINGTON – The pilot of a plane that crashed on Whipstock Mountain on Sunday is dead and investigators are beginning their probe into the cause of the plane crash, according to Bennington Police Chief Richard Gauthier.
On Monday morning, police were still trying to notify the pilot's family before releasing his identity but Gauthier said the pilot was the only person in the plane.
Police had received calls beginning around 7:15 p.m. on Sunday from people who said they had heard but not seen a plane crash. Some said they had also seen a low-flying plane.
Gauthier said on Monday a plane flown by employees of the Vermont Agency of Transportation spotted an ''abnormality'' in the tree cover they believed could have been a site of the crash.
The plane had to land to refuel and Gauthier said the New York State Police Aviation Unit was being directed toward the abnormality when a local person told police he had been able to find the plane while riding into the area in an all-terrain vehicle.
Gauthier said he believed the person was trying to help police with their investigation and was looking for the plane.
According to the Associated Press, the plane was a Cessna 172 registered to Sky Training, LLC., of West Milford, N.J.
Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Jim Peters told the Associated Press it will take investigators several hours to reach the crash site. Gauthier said the plane was found about 500 yards below an airplane beacon on Whipstock Mountain.
Peters says the plane departed Sunday from Greenwood Lake Airport in Milford, N.J., for what was expected to be two-hour flight. He did not know what time the plane took off.
Gauthier said while federal investigators will be looking into the plane crash, the Bennington Police Department is in charge of the investigation of the pilot's death.
It has been at least 20 years since there has been a plane crash in Bennington. In August 2006, a an Embraer E 110 cargo plane crashed in Pownal killing its only passenger, William Smith, 47, of Batavia, N.Y.
Bennington Police were assisted in their search by the Vermont State Police, Bennington County Sheriff's Department, Bennington Rural Fire Department and Bennington Rescue Squad, in addition to the New York State Police and Vermont Agency of Transportation.
