אחרי שראיתי שכ''כ רעבים פה לראיונות, ודרישות שלום מכל מה שקשור למיאמי,
החלטתי לשלוח שאלונים בנושא 'החויה כחבר פרחי מיאמי' לכמה מהסולנים, חלקם מהבוגרים וחלק סולנים של היום.
בהתחלה חשבתי שרק אחרי שאקבל את כל השאלונים עם התשובות, אעלה את הכל ביחד.
אבל כשראיתי שאין לכם סבלנות אז החלטתי להתחיל כבר היום - כשקיבלתי את השאלון הגמור הראשון.
השאלות והתשובות הם כמובן באנגלית, אבל לפי מה שראיתי עד עכשיו, זו לא שפה זרה לכם.

1. WHEN DID YOU COME UP WITH THE IDEA TO JOIN MBC?
My uncle was in it as a kid. Then my cousin joined. After which my brother joined. It's kind of a family thing.
2. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE MBC RATHER THAN YBC OR ANY OTHER CHOIR?
My relatives were all in MBC
3. DO YOU REMEMBER SOMETHING YERACHMIEL TOLD YOU AT THE TRYOUTS?
He told me to sing one slow one fast song.
4. HOW OLD WERE YOU WHEN YOU JOINED THE CHOIR?
8 Years old
5. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A CHOIR MEMBER?
I was for around 5 years.
6. ARE THERE ANY RULES/ANYTHING YOU MUST NOT DO/WEAR BEING IN THE CHOIR?
You weren't supposed to yell outside of practice in order to not ruin your voice.
7. DURING THE TIME IN THE CHOIR, DID YOU RECEIVE A SATISFYING AMOUNT OF SOLOS, OR YOU'D RATHER HAVE HAD MORE?
Everybody always wants more of everything… but I got a satisfying amount.
8. DID YOU LEAVE BEFORE/AFTER YOUR VOICE HAS CHANGED, OR DID YERACHMIEL TELL YOU TO LEAVE?
I left when my voice was changing… I was the tallest member and wanted to get out.
9. WHAT WAS IT THAT YOU LIKED MOST AS AN MBC CHOIR MEMBER?
It helped me build up self confidence and taught me to love crowds and not have stage fright.
10. WHAT DIDN'T YOU LIKE ABOUT BEING AN MBC CHOIR MEMBER?
I was in the choir at a time where many of my friends were having bar mitzvas and practice was on Sunday nights so I missed many of the parties.
11. CAN YOU SHARE WITH US A FUNNY EXPERIENCE THAT HAPPENED TO YOU IN THE YEARS YOU WERE IN THE CHOIR?
After some concerts abroad I was followed by paparazzi until I got into the car. It's always fun, as I am just a normal Jewish kid getting this celebrity attention.
12. IF YOU HAD ANY BROTHERS IN THE CHOIR, HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT IT?
I have lots of family in and have been in the choir.
13. WHAT CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT YERACHMIEL BEGUN?
His passion is the choir. Although he can be rough at times his real goal is to give us a great experience and put on a great show.
14. IS HE TOO STRICT?
Not for-say TOO STRICT. But at times he could be too rough.
15. IS IT TRUE THAT HE FAVOURS SOME OF THE BOYS, IF YES, WHAT TYPE OF BOYS DOES HE FAVOUR?
He does favor some boys. He favors the most obedient kids who are good at following directions, in addition to those with talent.
16. DOES HE EVER PUNISH, IF HE DOES, FOR WHAT AND WHAT PUNISHMENT?
He'll punish mainly for disobedience during practice. Punishment usually means just being thrown out of practice for a couple minutes, with more severe punishments including getting thrown off stage. Once when he lost his temper he threw a glass bottle and chair across the room behind him.
17. DID HE EVER YELL AT YOU, IF YES, WHY?
He yelled at everyone to some extent, but usually for a good enough reason.
18. DO YOU REMEMBER A PARTICULAR COMPLIMENT HE GAVE YOU?
He always told me I have a powerful voice and good voice control.
19. DID YOU MAKE ANY FRIENDS IN THE CHOIR, CAN YOU NAME THEM?
Yes. All the boys were friends. None that I really keep in contact with.
20. IF YOU LISTEN TO NONJEWISH MUSIC, DOES YERACHMIEL KNOW ABOUT THIS, WHAT DOES HE THINK OF IT?
I only listen to non-Jewish music. He never made it his business to keep up with our religious lives outside of concert and practice.
21. DID YERACHMIEL HAVE ANY INFLUENCE ON YOUR YIDISHKEIT? CAN YOU SHARE WITH US AN EXAMPLE?
No, except he would often reprimand me for not wearing tzitis to practice.

I wouldn't lead a choir.

Not in particular, but whenever I see him around I will definitely say hello.

אנט, יישר כח! you did raelly good job! ראיון ברמה,הייתי אומרת.הוא מקיף ורחב,כך שהתגובות יכולות להיות מעניינות ומגוונות. באמת יהיה נחמד לראות מה כל אחד מהמרואיינים הגיב. יש כאן רק,מספר מילים,שירחמיאל,נראה לי, היה מעיף,ליותר מכמה דקות מהחזרות.... :) (אז לא אצטט..,אבל פשוט צחקתי(למרות שזה אולי קצת עצוב...)בקטע עם בקבוק הזכוכית והכסא... נראה לי שגם הילד האדיש ביותר במקהלה,היה על גבול פגיעת הלם....) -------------------- מחכים להמשך.אני,בכל אופן....

אני מתנצלת שהעליתי את זה עוד פעם באנגלית. פשוט ראיתי שרובם מבינים וזה מדי ארוך בשבילי כדי להעלות את זה כל פעם עם תרגום. אני מציעה לך לתרגם לך את זה, זה שווה את הטרחה נראה לי.

אנט יישר כח! ילד עם מלא מלא חוש הומור,העלה לי חיוך על השפתיים. בפרט שאמר שצריך לשנות את שיטת העבודה (-מקוה שאכן הבנתי נכון) עוד נשמע ממנו מאפריקה....
